Topic: Need help identifying unreleased eShop game

Hey yo.

I remember reading about a game early last year that was supposed to be coming to the Wii U eShop but I can't remember what it's name was so hopefully someone can help me figure out what it was called.

It was a 2-D side scrolling action platformer featuring a shirtless Tarzan looking guy who used swords and could cast spells (I think). It was supposed to have an 8-bit look but halfway through development it was changed to have more of an SNES/Genesis appearance. The game was quite bloody if I remember correctly.

Anyone remember what this game was called? Is it still coming out or has it been abandoned? I believe it was being made by one or two dudes. Thanks!

Wasn't that called Insanity's Blade? Last I heard they were reworking it. I hope it wasn't silently cancelled because it looked promising.

Just looked it up and apparently it was released on Steam a couple months ago I but can't find anything about a Wii U release. Maybe those plans are dead?

I feel like this is happening more often where a Wii U version is announced and then we don't hear anything of it for a long while, so it goes away. I wish developers would be a little more responsible when announcing their plans
