Topic: Linking Nintendo E-Shop games on accounts?

Ok so I'd appreciate if anyone could help me with this issue. I've recently bought a second-hand Nintendo Wii U that came with 2 games, Mario Kart 8 and Super Smash Bros. Both are digital. I thought they came installed on the system itself, but apparently I can only access them from the other persons Nintendo account ID.

What I did at first was install the games, then deleted his account. Everything was fine then 2 days later I went to play Mario Kart and it said the original account it was purchased from has been deleted??

So I re-added their account and I can play again, but what I'd like to know is can I just link the games he bought on the E-Shop to my NNID so I don't need his extra account sitting there and have him possibly take it back or something?

can't be done. games are locked to NNID. can only transfer NNID to another console.

he can actually change his password and/or call Nintendo to deactivate the NNID to that console and you'd loose those games.

Never depend on digital games on a 2nd hand console. They're not yours to begin with.
