Just so everyone remembers Armature worked on the Arkham Origins: Blackgate game. However their familiarity with the Unreal engine will help the process go a lot smoother.
We're edging ever closer to the Wii U port. I'm not exactly sure if I should back this, since we've seen very little of the actual game, and I don't want to me Inafune'd like with Mighty No. 9, especially since IGA hasn't made a game since leaving Konami (and therefore we don't have a guage for his skills as a team leader without Konami, whereas I guess we should've known Inafune was a crapshoot since his Comcept made Yaiba and Bugs vs. Tanks).
Some interesting insight in there, but I think this is notable:
MikeyMcD: Some people have speculated about trademark and IP rights. Can you make a statement that addresses ownership of Bloodstained? Koji_Igarashi: Bloodstained is MY IP. Anyone can trademark anything. IP ownership is a different thing altogether.
So that's cleared up.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
Inafune was a crapshoot since his Comcept made Yaiba and Bugs vs. Tanks).
saying Comcept made Yaiba is about as accurate as saying Rare made the new Killer Instinct.
Explain.
Yaiba Ninja Gaiden was developed a company known for basically making not-good games (most famously Lost Planet 3). Now Inafune deserves some blame for continually giving them work, but they did not "make" the game. And to be fair, the last time a developer not known for making good games was given a major title, it was...Killer Instinct. And the Strider reboot. So it's basically like Nintendo and Artoon. (on a side note, people need to stop assuming Yoshi's Wooly World will be as mediocre as New Island, GoodFeel are 10X the developers the Artoon guys will ever be).
More nitpicking than disagreeing with your point tbh.
@CaviarMeths Thank you for posting that. I was pretty worried for a moment.
@kkslider5552000 What can I do to convince you to drop the random numbers from your name, or maybe even change your name to some variation of "kkslider2AM"? I'm even willing to attempt a recording of a K.K. Slider - 2 A.M., sung by me, including the beeps, barks, and wolf howls, so long as it will provide some incentive.

3 million hit and details for the Wii U version revealed. It will have Pro Controller support, as well as the usual Wii U version stuff, like maps n' stuff on Gamepad screen, Miiverse integration, and Off-TV play.
Also, Vita version announced at $3.5mil stretch goal, which it will also pass in a week or so.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.
Being able to annotate the maps is definitely a huge plus for me.
That IGA's later Castlevanias started allowing you to mark interesting places on the map always struck me as an underrated (and very welcome) little advancement for the subgenre. Because some people, such as yours truly, are simply too dumb to remember where all of those out-of-reach secret areas and missile upgrades are after 5-10 hours of adventuring.
I find it interesting that the next goal is asynchronous multiplayer. I can't believe that is a coincidence. I hope it's Dark Souls-like. It would be incredibly fitting for it to take elements of Dark Souls considering how Castlevania inspired Dark Souls seems to be.
Currently projected at $3.66mil on the low end, that's assuming the current trend continues and it gets no extra push at the end of the campaign. The high end of $4.46mil accounts for typical final push, where it could earn up to $1mil in the last 24 hours.
Current revealed stretch goals are asynchronous multiplayer at $3.25mil, Vita port at $3.5mil, and what looks like it could be orchestrated soundtrack at $3.75mil.
EDIT: Bonus Tweet. Armature plans to port UE4 to Wii U and Vita.
i just hope the gamepad isnt the only option to use the map.
if i can play this game fully operational without the gamepad ill be happy...

Vita release confirmed along with the announcement of even more stretch goals. Among these new stretch goals are a third playable character, and even a prequel minigame.
Those stretch goals are nuts. Even more nuts is that this actually has a chance of reaching $4.5mil. Cool as that 8bit minigame on 3DS sounds though, I don't think $4.75mil is in reach.
