I feel like if they want to make a Wii U version (and possibly PS3/360 versions) it should be the next announced stretch goal. It could cause their kickstarter to pick up steam again, not as much as before but more than now. I hope there is a Wii U version.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Heh, moreso that there a Retro level stretch goal next with an icon of an nes cartridge. ...it's all a matter of time.

Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

Still no Wii U stretch goal. 5 times their original asking price, still not enough to "create a second version of the game for the Wii U"

I probably wouldn't complain if their $250,000 stretch goals were a lot of content but some of these were just pathetic. Sorry, rant over.

I do want that retro level, though. Classic mode might be nice, too.

I am not saying they aren't nice. But I don't think it is going to take them $250,000 to add a new Boss to the game. Or to enable cheat codes. Maybe I could be proven wrong and those stretch goals could be worth $250,000 each when it comes out, but I find it hard to believe.

I'd imagine Cheat Codes would take some fiddling at least. And a new boss usually means a new area, etc. A few are a bit of a stretch (Boss Rush and Speedrun modes should be fairly quick to do), but then I think a few of them are comparably too daunting (Classic Mode means they have to design a second game, basically). It sort of evens out in the end.

Classic Mode could just be the removal of a feature also. Maybe they cut your health down or let you only hold 1 weapon at a time. Right now, it seems like the stretch goals don't equate to half of their original goal, but that is just my opinion. I would have expected a Wii U/PS3/360 stretch goal by now and am disappointed there hasn't been one yet, that is all I am saying basically.

The Wii U version is part of the Dungeon level stretch goals, so now that all the castle level stretch goals have been 'unlocked' we can only hope it's the one right after Classic Mode.

Each time a Stretch Goal is reached they add another and the castle gets taller. When they hinted at the Wii U stretch goal they probably just meant once they earn enough money they will reveal the Wii U stretch goal. I am surprised that hasn't happened yet at 5x their original goal

Nah, the castle won't get taller, this was the last one:
"A Reward For Crushing Our Expectations

We probably shouldn't have doubted you. Once upon a time, back before you shattered our Kickstarter goal in one day, we thought you'd be getting the Diamond Lens right about now, with plenty of castle stretch goals still to unlock.

Instead, because you are amazing, you've ALREADY hit the bottom of the castle. Once you unlock the Retro Level and Classic Mode it'll just be you and the locked door to the castle dungeon, where some very big stretch goals—ones we only dreamed of including—lie in wait.

That means your Diamond Lens, which you are about to unlock, is worthless: you've already seen the Castle goals. "

Classic mode is literally them creating a second game that's like Castlevania 1 and 4. They updated their kickstarter and said it will be a sidescroller and probably six levels.

Probably will also be converted to an eShop game to get Nintendo fans' dollars as well

Looks like the Wii U version will be the $3,000,000 stretch goal!! Half a mill more to go...

Still need 9 more achievements to get that basement key, but yeah, Wii U is pretty much a lock at this point.

So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

Nice! Armature Studios seems like a very capable studio, so that puts my last worries for Bloodstained to rest!

Yup. Getting that Metroid Prime pedigree is exactly the vote of confidence that this project needed. Worries that the PS/XB/PC version would be compromised to make a gimped Wii U port can be put to rest.

Edit: Maybe a mod can move this to the Wii U section or should we just make a new topic?
