Because the developer has no Wii-U dev kit and has no interest in getting one.
Shame.

A Touch screen map might be worth it, but otherwise I'd just get it for the PS3 anyways. Not that I'd say no to more support, but if I'm not gonna get it, there's no point in me asking for it, either.

am I missing something? because those two posts look so conflicting to me... doesn't Capcom have a WiiU dev kit?

@GuSilverFlame: Yea, its doesn't make sense if you are explaining about Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate but I think he or she meant that developer team don't have one.

Well. I would like to hear from the studios envolved. It's on 4 consoles + PC.
I doubt it will come later, but anyways... I guess I'll be playing Shovel Knight a lot more then
Well you guys could download it on Steam on your PC if your PC can run it. I actually like the game and it is more like Shadow Complex minus the RPG element and shooting. I called it hack and slash game into Shadow Complex world.
Yeah, Double Helix doesn't have a Wii-U dev kit, so no Wii-U version.

Why does the dev-kit matter? If they want one to put the game on Wii U, they will get one. The dev-kit is a non-issue. The issue is that they probably don't see a Wii U port being worth it, that and I'm not amazon will want them to do a Wii U port either.
Because otherwise it would be coming to the Wii-U. Capcom certainly had no problem with Dungeon & Dragons or DuckTales.
Double Helix probably isn't interested anyway.
