Topic: I emailed Nintendo about New Super Luigi U.

I emailed Nintendo about why they should've added Daisy into the game as the damsel in distress instead of Peach, and that Nintendo should've explained what Mario was doing during the events of New Super Luigi U. I also said they should've put a little more effort into the game, such as making a new over world map and new environments, new power ups, a more effortful and creative story plot, and new boss battles and enemies. Speaking of which, I gave Nintendo some plot ideas, such as King Boo trapping Mario and Peach in a painting and Luigi, Nabbit, and Toads have to rescue them, or Bowser kidnapping Daisy in Sarasland and Luigi, Nabbit, and Toads have to rescue her.

While I acknowledged that Nintendo wouldn't be able to redo NSLU, I suggested that they could incorporate my ideas into a New Super Luigi U sequel. I also mentioned that while New Super Luigi U had its flaws, it was a stellar game nonetheless and I gave it an 8.8 out of 10. I should get a reply soon.

You'll probably get a copy and paste reply saying something like "Thank you for your interest in our game". I wouldn't hold your breath for anything else.

It's $20 dlc. Nintendo barely puts any thought into the plot of their Mario games, I highly doubt they're gonna put much more thought into a small luigi game.

The plots I made up were relatively simple plots... much more so than the Mario RPGs. (Not that that's a bad thing.)

This game will be awesome.

I'm sure they respond quickly to all letters telling them how to design games and signed by something like Classic Sonic Fan.

You're comparing the story of a platformer to the story of an RPG?

Wait a minute I just noticed, why does the boxart for the NA version of M&L DT say "play in English and French"? I'd get if it was the European version, or maybe it's catering to Canadians (French is an official language there)?

No offense but who do you think you are that Nintendo will even consider your ideas? I am sure they probably get a dozen letters like yours a day. I wouldn't be surprised if they dont even read it and you just get a letter like what brooks83 said.

Besides you have to remember Super Luigi U was just DLC not a full game what you are asking for is a full game not DLC.

its referring to our Quebec province if it actually has anything to do with it but i doubt it since i could buy a game from the united states and it would work in on my 3ds we arent that different

Dont take this seriously kid but im pretty sure your request isnt going to be taking into consideration like that as there was probably alot more people with your mindset that did the same thing so if they werent covinced now they arent ever going to be

Dude. You are 14. Nintendo knows what will sell in a platformer. In this case, it's familiarity, plus, they don't want to build from the ground up for mere DLC, it would take far too long.

You are joking with this post right? Do you really think the email will be printed off by an intern and they'll frantically run through the halls of Nintendo's corporate office? The whole time dodging office chairs and shoulder rolling around coffee carrying coworkers. Skiping the elevator because their legs are motivated and will outrun one anyday, the dedicated intern runs up ten flights of stairs. He bursts into the top floor and right into Iawata's office. Iawata turns in his massive leather office chair to see what is disturbing the tranquility. Our hero intern is leaning on the door with one hand while hunched over and breathing heavily. He stretches out his other hand to Iawata which is clenching your crumpled note. He says, "Iawata San! This letter is from a dedicated fan who has a few small ideas tweak a game of ours!" Iawata perks up and swiftly walks to the intern. He eagerly tares the letter from the intern. He walks towards his fireplace as he reads the note. A smile grips his face and he stands straight up. "Call a meeting!" The shouts to the intern. "We have magic to create!"

Wasn't that fun? Now here's reality. Intern opens email. Intern skims 2/3rds of the letter and rolls their eyes. Intern sends a "Thank you for your concern" email that is a standard response email that really says nothing. Intern then deletes your email and no one ever sees it. Reality sucks.

They made the game and YOU were thinking they'd make some changes to it just because you sent them an e-mail? It's their games' dude not yours.

Yeah man, screw you for trying to make your voice heard. Shut up and take what Nintendo offers like everyone else!

That's what I figured with Quebec, but it just seems strange since I've never seen that before.

sorry i havent responded to your email. things have been pretty hectic over here. actually ive been busy trying to piss everyone off with the earthbound release for wii u. it keeps my blood pumping. next week were gonna tell everyone earthbound is cancelled when things get a little slower around here, that will give us more time to laugh at all the things we see online. it gives a special kind of fan something to cry about cuz you know, earthbound.
what was your concern again? i seemed to have lost your email, cuz earthbound
