By way of apology for not satisfying Nintendo Life's reviewer, we thought it appropriate to issue download codes of our game to interested parties. We thought we'd allow people the opportunity to try out our game for themselves and give their own feedback directly to us.
There are a few things that we wanted to comment on for people who download our game.
Owing to a marketing problem, we wanted to make it clear that our game is not for people who can't tolerate dying. A lot. Nor is it the type of game that you try to master in one sitting. Rather, it is a score buster that you try to get good at over time. We understand that the game might be slow starting for some people, but ship behaviors do get more complex over time (around every 10 points, up to a point, starting at 20). This is evident on our thriving Miiverse community. The reviewer didn't seem to make it past 20 based on their text of the review. We're sad that we couldn't make the first few minutes of the game more interesting for them to continue because 20 is when the ship behaviors get more interesting.
There is also an issue where the game might not run properly on unauthorized external storage without a separate power source. This was an oversight that we could not have predicted. We're trying to issue the fix, but it is best if you play the game on the Wii U system storage or rely on an authorized external drive. We are trying to issue a fix regardless of the "unauthorized" status of the drives. If the game is not loading new content for you past 10 and the ship behaviors remain basic then there are issues with your drive. We're working on adding score boards to the game to make up for this.
We are also open to answering any questions about our games, including Explody Bomb and unannounced future products, and questions related to Wii U development (provided that we are authorized to answer those questions). We're also willing to answer any questions related to game development in general and our game company, Alkterios Games LLC. Feel free to ask anything and we'll do our best to answer it.
I'm sorry to hear that your game got a bad review , but there is no one to blame but you . I am aware that effort has been put in order to make this game , but on a failing console that only has about 10 million units sold worldwide , a mediocre game won't sell well at all . I know that this game has a specific audience , and so , I will leave the download codes where I found them , however I will gladly pay for future games if they're fun and not repetitive . You have my full support 😊

Since you want to use this thread to discuss the game, I'll change the title a bit, otherwise this would seem like some sort of contest or something. I hope you don't mind.
Thank you very much, I will be sure to give honest feedback when I try your game. The concept really does intrigue me!
Only problem is I can't get these codes to work......should I be waiting for activation or something?
@Morpheel: Well, the point of the thread is to give away the codes and answer any questions, but that is entirely up to you. We're not trying to make it seem like a contest and we're sorry we gave that impression.
Ok, i read now that the codes only work in NA... i live in Europe
Anyways, we all know that a review is the opinion a person, may it be an expert person, but still... some people may enjoy a game others don't.
If all the codes are taken, I'll know tomorrow. The issue is that some people outside North America had problems using the codes. They only work in the USA, Canada, and Mexico.

@Ricube: Sorry you couldn't play. The game is doing well, so you might see it in Europe one day! We also give out codes regularly through our sites and announce them on Miiverse.

@alkteriosgames: I'm in the UK so it won't work. I've just now realised it US only so my mistake. Thank you all the same, I'll be keeping an eye out for your game.....
I am not home so I can't redeem a code yet. Won't be home for another 8 hours lol. I did want to thank you as you look to be respectful and understand different people might hold different opinions. There have been so many developers attacking reviewers that it is refreshing to see someone be respectful, which is sad. Being respectful should be the norm.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

I hope that is legit, looks legit. It let me redeem the top code, (B0GTN5Y124NCFWNM) which I would have figured was gone by now but decided to try it anyway lol
Managed to grab one. I'll give it a try. I'll be playing via Wii U internal storage, so I shouldn't have any issues (seems a lot of games hit snags when played on external HHDs...)
I hear those snags are when using Hard Drives that aren't recommended by Nintendo. I got one of the ones they recommend and haven't had any snags.

That's very thoughtful of you guys to do, it's a shame your game didn't review so well at NL. I also used this code -> B0GTN5YC1NKTWJF1 if anyone was planning on using that.
Thanks for this. This is a very bold, classy move and, because of it, I'll be writing up a review of the game for WiiWareWave.com, if one isn't already planned, and doing my part to spread the word about your work.
