Loved the first game. It was 3rd in my eShop games of 2015 list (just behind Typoman and Fast Racing Neo).

I didn't know the sequel was so close to release! Very excited!

I wonder if they're done with this game or if Milla's story + other characters are still inbound at some point.

@Dankykong Yeah i find it pretty odd a sequel is coming out when this content hasn't been released yet, way back in October of last year they said it was coming to Wii U and being worked on so i wonder why it hasn't come yet. Half of it is out on Steam, I personally don't really mind, i enjoyed this game but it was far from a perfect experience for me and i'd expect a sequel to improve upon it by quite a bit. The potential is there.

@Kevlar44 What was released on Steam? I read in a few places that the preview to Milla's story was terribly received. After finding out we were due her story, along with Spade and Torque, it feels like we have 50% of a game.

I still really enjoyed everything but I kind of wish I knew what I was doing with Milla when controlling her and why. Also the idea of controlling Spade and Torque seemed super interesting. Now that would have been a lot of stuff to do. I already spent 12.5hrs on everything available, it could have been double or more with 3 more stories and stuffs worth to do. It seems like until Humble Bundle the game was becoming forgotten by people.

The good part is everything works really well (imo anyway) for a game from the eShop. It seems highly professional in many ways even with the lack of additions.

Does anyone else get a bit of a Metroid feel from this game? Or am I just crazy, cause I swear I can taste a bit of Metroid in the game. Trust me, I know what Samus Tastes like...

Well, the levels are pretty big. Too big for my taste, with around 15-25 minutes per stage.
The levels are at a size where a map would be preferable.
I prefer shorter stages or open world.

I made it anyway though. Any strats for the final boss?

@Kevlar44 Galaxy Trails said on Facebook that the WII U update is taking a long time because just one person is working on in.All the others are working on Freedom Planet 2.

The final boss was easier than a couple prior imo.

Yeah I kinda hope they don't make as long of levels in the next game :/ They can add more levels to make up the time but 25 minutes can be a lot of time to dedicate to one zone for some people I'm sure.

MP2 Games is a great and underrated Wii U game developer / porter.

I have only three Wii U games ported by MP2 Games (Freedom Planet, Knytt Underground, and The Angry Video Game Nerd Adventures) but all games have a few things in common: No loading times, no framerate issues (running smooth at all times), no glitches or bugs or freezes. No technical issues at all and running excellently.

MP2 Games, one porter to look out for!
