I downloaded it yesterday. It is ok, not perfect but it is a good game. it has variety of scenarios. It has a lot of unlockeables and you can do some easy combos. It is like old game school, it is a good 6/10 for me. You can try it if you like simple games but with charm. It needs multiplayer but is ok.
id also like to add i got this game as well. this means its an automatic good game.

Very brutal. Hit Zombies with an electric guitar into the head, see them not only splatter, but also hitting the ground, where their skin tears of and bodies explode into a fountain of blood.
What I don't like about Rock Zombie:
Three girls to select from - but no multiplayer. Even in 1990 no multiplayer in an arcade beat'em up was a no go!
No breakable objects. Apart from certain boxes, you cannot destruct anything in the game world. Trashcans, cars, stuff on the street. It's all static and concrete.
That "Rock/Death Metal music" - Cheap lo-fi quality but also a distracting loop where the music pauses for a millisecond.
Camera - Sometimes you can walk paths that the camera cannot follow. Like climbing a staircase to nowhere. Hope you don't get stuck behind stuff.
Cutscenes. Those comic book pages. They look horrible! Really bad! In every way: presentation, picture quality, story.
In-Game graphics: Bring you back to the Dreamcast/PS2 gen.
Moves: All the moves (4 buttons and 4 stupid combos). Instead of 3 young chicks, the animations look like they were performed by 3 unflexible grandmas.
Collectables: There are often unreachable coins. And the unlockables in the menu are ???-boxes. You never know what you get. MK-like. You want a better guitar, or costume? Well, if you've bad luck you lose all your money for useless artwork.
You know, those B-horror Movies with trash factor, real bad storylines and lots of blood. You like that, then this game is for you.
But don't expected a highly polished and playable trashfactor game like The House of the Dead Overkill.
i really liked this one. finished it the other day. i recommend this to beat em up fans for sure.
