Sorry if this thread takes up unnecessary bandwidth but I just have 3 questions about the eShop version of Darksiders 2.

1. I heard on some internet posts that the download version does not support the pro controller. Is that true?

2. How many gigs of memory does the download version take on Wii U?

3. Does the download version have the included DLC that the retail version has?

Thanks everyone!

1. This one is a little odd as I'm getting conflicting reports. Some claim to be able to play with the Pro on the downloadable version, while some reports claim a strange incompatibility. Can't find anything definitive yet, so you'll need someone reliable who owns the eShop version. (Some have claimed that if you re-download the game, the pro controller may work... But I have no evidence of this.)

For what it's worth, DS2 plays great in off screen on the Gamepad. It's a pretty rough looking game in general, so the lowered resolution is a benefit to the visuals. Also, the frame rate is quite unstable, which is less noticeable in off-TV play.

2. After scrolling down a couple threads, I determined the size to be "Darksiders II - 10101.7 Mb".

3. It's the same game, so yes. Of course it includes everything in the retail version. Only difference is one has a physical presence (disc, case, booklet) and the other doesn't. (Outside of a possible Pro controller qlitch.)

I think the pro contoller problem may be a carry over from the retail release. Upon starting the game for the first time, you are given the choice between GamePad and Pro Controller. After this initial selection, there is no way of changing. Not sure if this is the DL version's problem, but it certainly is the case for the retail version.

Brilliant game though! :)

I cannot figure out how to do the hot keys thing - can you tell me how that works?
