I really like it! I like the look and feel of the environment, but as you have said the beginning looks really dark. Hopefully you can make a big enough game with enough areas and environments and some interesting gameplay. You are using Unity, right? Are you also using the UFPS plugin?

Yes I have been using unity for a little over 2 years. No not UFPS. I do have the package though I like there camera rig better and was thinking of trying with it. I am using RFPS as a base right now but with modified code. Also I am putting in different models for hands and pistol. The environment is fairly big. There are many hidden rooms in the spooky mansion finding them is the hard part . The game play is amid to be kind of like maniac mansion with a bit of Resident Evil (1) feel to it . I am going it alone for the most part with the development but I do have an artist and someone to do the video work I AM TERRIBLE with video editing.

You obviously have some Unity knowledge are you a developer?

Oh and you said you were planning a health system on this game?

I reworked the footstep audio a little and added changing from carpet to hard floor. The new Take is being uploaded now. The footsteps are still place holders but YEAH it was terrible thank you for pointing it out.

I reworked the footstep audio a little and added changing from carpet to hard floor. The new Take is being uploaded now. The footsteps are still place holders but YEAH it was terrible thank you for pointing it out.

No. I just help developers and read up on stuff on the unity asset store from time to time.

I was thinking that from this camera position for the main menu. The game title could be printed on the wall. like on the bottom of the paintings and on top of the chairs?

And for the buttons could be on the bottom screen, Right under the table?

I see what your saying. That s a good Idea. I like interactive 3d menus. I will try a mock up in a couple days.

nice! the atmosphere is pretty creepy and I liked the lack of a flashlight when you're using the knife, makes it more tense what'll make some players feel forced to choose between wasting ammo or having bad sight.

For one the lack of ammo. It will not be plastered all over the game nor will it magically re-spawn XD
The creatures also do have scripted in basic senses of sight and sound. So running and shooting can alert an unseen beastie.

They will have animated deaths and dead body placement.
