Is anyone able to get the music through the speakers for Color Zen? I can only get music through the GamePad, which feels weird when the TV is connected to a good sound system.

In all its simplicity, this game is actually a very good coop multiplayer game. It's easy for anyone looking at the TV giving suggestions by just saying the color to the one at the GamePad.

However, it also feels almost like iPad mini game, since I can't get any music to the real speaker, and all game actions (including menu selections) are only controllable through the touch screen.

Not seeing the frame on the TV and no music out the TV are negatives, but it's a nice, relaxing game.

I see the frame on the TV.

The frame is cut off at the left of the screen on my tv.
With this game a screen x/y calibrate option would be good for some tv's it seems.
On the GamePad it's perfect.

The Wii U has a calibration tool in System Settings->TV->Adjust screen size.

But it would change the screen size of the system menu and probably all games (which run fine). It's just Color Zen that needs to be recalibrated.

Yeah I can't see re calibrating just for one game. The frame is totally gone on my TV - in fact I didn't know what the instructions were talking about at first. Of course without any on-screen indicator as to where your fingers are on the touchpad you're pretty much playing on the Gamepad anyway with the TV being for spectators.

If one games looks cut on your screen, all your games do. You simply haven't noticed it yet.

If I haven't noticed it, it's because it doesn't affect gameplay. Making the border a couple of lines thicker won't hurt anything. I put up a Miiverse post suggesting that, TV music and showing finger placement on the Gamepad on the TV screen (more games should do that to avoid having to look down - check Wii Party U for a good example of execution). Hopefully someone in dev-land takes note!

If you look closely, not even the frame on the GamePad is 100% in the center. It's a bit drawn to the left. Am I imagining this? Pls confirm.
In the meantime I go check my Wii U screen configuration.

Just downloaded and played this game last night. Do want to confirm that the music does not come out of the tv, only the gamepad. But the outside frame looked perfect on both the gamepad and tv. I purposely checked it since I read this thread before the download, and I have no issues on either screen.

I finally got around to playing the demo I had on my system forever and this is a fun game. After completing everything the demo had to offer I jumped on the eShop saw it was on sale and bought it.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Regarding the border on the TV that turned out to be my Wii U TV screen size settings (you'd think the default would be correct, but no). I haven't picked this up for a while, but I think it's an essential purchase for the puzzling fan. Gets quite challenging later on and is a nice way to unwind.
