Say an awesome game is coming for the Wiiu, get Wiiu owners to fund it. And then cancel the Wiiu version! My goodness it's brilliant!
Just like Project Cars, the Wii U version was NEVER mentioned during the fundraising. Only after it was funded and they'd stopped taking donations did they announce they'd like to bring it to Wii U.
I honestly don't recall it coming to anything other than PC...
IIRC, the developer had said he had planned to bring it Wii U at some point.
This is nowhere near a Project Cars situation, but it does seem similar in that people are making statements with clearly no confirmation to anyone else.
I'm more worried about the Wii U version of Hover being canned.
What are you talking about?
A Kickstarter game that included a Wii U version as a stretch goal with no signs of it coming to the Wii U as of yet.
Because it's an indie game that's still in early development and has to fully release on PC (it's only in Alpha on Steam right now) before they port over to consoles. Relax.

Your welcome. I mean, what did you expect, them to make the Wii U version first? It clearly was going to take more time, hence why it was a stretch goal. They even said they'd try to utilize the unique features of the hardware. I honestly can't even find any news related to the Xbox One and PS4 versions that are less than a year old...

You make it sound like I'm not getting my Kickstarter updates.
Let me rephrase my orginal post, On the topic of Kickstater games with planned Wii U versions being canned I can see Hover going the same way but I'm not activatly working myself up into a state and don't need any reassurance.
I liked Anima: Ark of Sinners on WiiWare. It had a nice dark design, world, story, and atmosphere.
Looking forward to play Anima: Gate of Memories on Wii U.
Glad it's not canceled.
So it's going into a roundabout of statements, NintendoEverything tried to check what's happening since then and the publisher is still saying there's no Wii U release whilst the developer is saying there will be.
