@MrWalkieTalkie Natsume recently announced that localization is ahead of schedule and the game might be released in North America as early as Fall 2014 now.
I really want to support JRPGs on the system, but I watched a video of the first 40 minutes on YT and... it looks incredibly dull and generic. =/
Yep, that's what I thought as well.
To be honest, I'm a huge JRPG fan and there aren't a lot of options on Wii U right now, so I'm pretty sure I'll get either Alphadia Genesis or Pier Solar in the near future. Still undecided on which one, however.
Well you actually have a decent controller to use for the game and the game doesn't lag to the point of wanting to tear your hair out like most games on android devices do so I'd say it's worth it.
Okay so I've put just under 20 hours into this game and I feel that this game is a really good retro-style RPG! The game feels like a combination of Final Fantasy and Phantasy Star, while the battle system definitely feels similar to the Playstation One titles Wild Arms and Wild Arms 2! It's not perfect by any means, but it's still much better than Pier Solar imo.
Does anyone know if there are any noteworthy sidequests "besides the guild quests" in the game? There's virtually no information regarding the game, anywhere online.
