We still haven't gotten a single SEGA game on the Wii U VC. Easily, the Wii U could get many Mega Drive and Genesis games. Then, there's also the possibility of getting 32X, Sega CD and Dreamcast games. I'm sure the Wii U hardware could support those games. If SEGA's VC support on 3DS has shown us something, it's that Sega does what Nintendon't. They put more options into their 3DS VC games and I'm sure they could do the same with their Wii U VC games.
So, I guess, the big question is, why hasn't SEGA supported the Wii U VC yet? Is Nintendo holding them back?
What SEGA games or systems would you like to see on the Wii U VC?
I think Dreamcast and Sega Saturn games are the ones that everyone wants the most, but all of them should be there.
The advantage Nintendo has for Sega systems(or any system, really) being on VC, is that they don't have to rebrand games as "HD" and such. That's probably why we didn't get Soul Calibur 2 on Wii U, because it's a GCN game and they would technically be able to call it a GCN VC game instead of just uploading it to the eShop as a DLC title without system association.
In otherwords, the actual systems being recognized and supported via VC can make it easier to upload games. Let's say that PowerStone, RE: Code Veronica, etc. 3rd party titles release on Wii U. They would go under a system category instead of being released as an "HD" version as I mentioned above.
Just thought I'd bring that up, but to answer your question: Yes. I can't really think of that many games for Saturn or Dreamcast, though. I basically didn't get a chance to play those systems at all.

That'd be great, but it'd take a lot of user storage (hello external HDD) and the Virtual console has never had disc image files like that before. These will be big games and multi-disc ones would be even trickier to pull off (not too many of those though.)
Third-parties if they felt it was in their interest had a decent support of Saturn/Dreamcast. First Resident Evil, Rayman, and Tomb Raider ports immediately come to mind.
We definitly need Sega's arcade games to come out on the WiiU VC.
Sega Rally, OutRrun, Virtua Racer, Daytona USA, Virtua Cop, House of the dead, Crazy Taxi.
I really want Saturn and Dreamcast. As for Mega Drive, I'm positive we'll have it eventually. Just not sure if I want 32X... Is there a single good game made for that contraption?
Na, Sega's awful Sonic Lost World and Olympic Games are enough unmitigated disasters brought to the Wii U that we don't need anymore from them for awhile while Nintendo diligently try's to recover from them, right @MadAussieBloke?
To blessed to be stressed.
80's music makes me feel fabulous.
What Would Duane Do? Rynoggery
Powerstone with online support FTW. But, Sega has a huge library of games that can benefit any console. I would love to see Sega bring Chu Chu Rocket, House of the Dead, Fighter's Megamix, and Daytona USA all to the Wii U VC with online play.

Square would be good, too; but Square is mostly RPGs. So that would be great for RPG fans, but I think SEGA would be able to appeal to a wider audience. But I would like to get Dragon Warrior 1 again. It's not too long and it's a good RPG. Maybe we could get a better translated version, including the original title.
Are the Wii VC and Wii U VC the same? I'm scared if I bought a Wii U I would lose all my VC games - VC is the only reason I still own a Wii. If the Wii U had exclusive 32x, Saturn and Dreancast, I'd buy one today. But in lieu of that, could the Wii support 32s, Saturn, and Dreamcast? Would I lose my VC games buy upgrading to Wii U?

You can transfer your Wii VC to the Wii U's Wii Mode. Then when a VC game you own in Wii Mode is released for Wii U VC you can upgrade your Wii VC game for the Wii U version for a small fee, $1 for NES and $1.50 for SNES
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

So, I would not lose my Turbo Grafix 16 and Sega Genesis games?
I'm sure it's low sales that are keeping Sega away rather than hardware limitations. If they see Wii U hardware numbers rising, I'm sure they'd consider it. Plenty of Saturn and Dreamcast games I'd like to see. Burning Rangers, Shining Force 3, all 3 Panzer Dragoon Games, Sega Rally, Manx TT Superbike, Fighters Megamix, Toy Commander, Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, Space Channel 5 and both Shenmue games for starters!
But until this day arrives MAB can safely say... WiiU VC is doomed with only NES & SNES
That's why people should download SNES games that are not on E Shop and Nintendo 64 games from the Wii Shop Channel. They are so easy to buy in Wii Mode if you use a prepaid Credit card instead of the discontinued Wii Points Cards. I did it already ! Wii U has to release them too at some point for the E Shop.

Correct, you just won't be able to use a GameCube controller to play them

Not yet, thats comming next year when Super Smash Brothers is released for the Wii U. You can buy a Nintendo port then for Wii U games upgraded and new. Also, you can get a GC Gamecube Game Controller Converter Adapter for Wii & Wii U Console for the Wiimote on ebay.

I don't think the official Adapter has been confirmed to work on Wii VC yet
