Miiverse is going to be mad, because Europe's getting Urban Champion this week, EU also gets Clu Clu Land.

It's actually not Japan-only, it's Daikoukai Jidai II aka Uncharted Waters: New Horizons (for some reason Koei seems to like rereleasing the sequel but not the original).

I'm guessing the sequel makes the previous game obsolete, I never actually played those though, I'm not into them.

Good news according to one of my Miiverse friends, there are only 12 first party NES games and 5 first party SNES games that have yet to be released before the Wii U VC catches up to the Wii VC for Nintendo first party VC games (not counting games removed Wii VC games or games not released on Wii VC at all) He said that the last 5 first party SNES games were

  • Kirby's Avalanche
  • Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
  • Super Mario Kart
  • Super Mario RPG
  • Super Punch Out!

Technically Kirby's Avalanche isn't a first-party as it's a western reskin of Super Puyo-Puyo by Compile and Banpresto.

Nintendo published it on Wii VC and it's in the "Timeline" on the American version of Kirby's Dream Collection, so I count it.

Final Fantasy is an RPG.
It is clearly the only one I need, it is the RPG for me.
But not on the Wii U. I must already have every version of that game by now except the MSX and phone versions (well, okay I don't have the 1987 Famicom version but I do the 1994 version).
