Well this is the Wii U VC forum.

Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

I wonder why Capcom skipped Mega Man 1 and 2 in Japan. Sort of like how Konami skipped Contra for every VC release so far.

I'm not sure why they didn't just start from the beginning.

Capcom and Konami aren't the same, Capcom will probably just go back to 1 & 2 right afterwards.

I didn't want to create another thread for this so I thought I'd just post it here. Games recently classified in Australia that will probably appear on the Wii U VC sooner rather than later. Maybe 3DS, maybe Wii (unlikely) maybe Wii U. Some are already on the NA eShop, some are already on the EU eShop, some are only in Japan but I don't think any of these are on the AU eShop.

  • Summer Carnival '92: Recca
  • Star Soldier
  • The King of Fighters '99
  • Art of Fighting 3: The Path of the Warrior
  • Life Force

.... and Earthbound!

Some playlists: Top All Time Songs, Top Last Year

I think the NES games are for 3DS, the Neo Geo games are for Wii, and Earthbound is of course for Wii U.

I just noticed Japan didn't have Donkey Kong Jr. when EU and NA got it.

Europe's getting Xevious and Solomon's Key.

@MrSRArter
Highly unlikely they'll end up just on the Wii, a lot of effort to go and get them classified just for launch on an aging platform.... :S

Mario's Super Picross has never been released in NA, not on the SNES and not even on Wii.
I wonder what the story with that is?

Just saw on twitter that Crash 'n the Boys: Street Challenge has been rated. Googled it, another game not released here that got a rating. This is way too much content to be brushed off, I'd say there's a revival of the Hanabi Festival coming soon. We know Earthbound is on its way to the Wii U so that's the sensible headliner. I think it's fairly safe to assume that these are heading to the Wii U.

I don't know, they could be 3DS VC or Wii U if they're NES games.

It just started and we're already behind Japan.

Way to go, NOA.

Well, at least next week will be decent. Super Mario Bros. 2 and Super Metroid. I still think we should be getting AT LEAST three a week and not just lame NES titles.
