My gaming library has a gaping, Gamecube-sized hole in it. I would absolutely love to be able to play gems like Mario Kart Double Dash and Four Swords Adventures, since I have had criminally low and no play time with them respectively due to never owning a Gamecube.
It won't happen, though. Not this generation. We can only hope the NX will eventually get them on VC.
Well, Wii consoles and Gamecube discs are cheap now. I expect if Gamecube games ever come to the Virtual Console, they would be expensive. About £12.50 in the U.K. for each game.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
It's questionable how the Gamecube has received zero VC support when they're remastering games from the system, yet games like Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, Wario World, Super Mario Sunshine, Geist, F-Zero: GX, Custom Robo and others are completely ignored.
I would pay a full-retail price to play Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door again, and I know I'm not alone in that.
No analog triggers so no GCN VC. Nintendo isn't going to force people to use the GCN Adapter or the OG Classic Controller that they stopped manufacturing.

Putting the games on VC doesn't force anyone to do anything.
You guys had me at blood and semen.
What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?
The reason is probably Nintendo wants to save it for NX like a lot of their other projects. But it will start in 2020 just before the NX successor is released.
