Because I wouldn't. I don't have anybody with a second Wii U to play with Nor would I particularly want to play multiplayer GBA games if I were able to. While I do enjoy playing GBA games on Wii U, they are better as more of a personal solo experience to me. Simply put, I'd rather play multiplayer Mario Kart 8 than multiplayer Super Circuit.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
If It's like Advance Wars multiplayer where it's turn-based and players can pass the Gamepad around, I'm all for it. Works when playing with friends as long as you don't have the TV source on the game when playing in fog of war.
A dying animal struggles, thrashes and howls in protest as its life torn from it. To see this in action, watch Animal Planet. The same thing happens when a video game is or isn't released. To see this in action, stay here.

If the multiplayer was, one person on the GamePad and another person on the TV screen both of us playing off the same WIi U, then I would use it a lot.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

@martinskrtel37: Well, it is really weird that they went through the trouble of making a GameCube adapter for the Wii U as well as produce brand new GameCube controllers and then do absolutely nothing with it other than it being used for Smash Bros. It couldn't have been too much trouble to patch in GameCube controller support for all Virtual Console games and some Wii U games like Mario Kart 8.
it's not weird at all. they made the adaptor and new controllers for smashers who want to play smash with the best controller ever, the best controller for smash. it's a sign of love and respect for the community that has been going strong and growing considerably for over 10 years. it was a sign they were going to support the competitive smash bros scene.
the fact that you can use your wiimotes and classic controllers and pro controllers and even 3DS or 2DS unit as a controller for your Wii U should be plenty. the only reason they added the gamecube adaptor was for smash, for the competitve smash scene, to give the Wii U something to be taken seriously, the best indication that they were behind smash being played at a competitive level, that's what we've wanted forever, their support. if they continued to not support competitive smash we would not have seen the adaptor or the new controllers and nintendo's support on the competitive scene and smash 4 would not have been on the fighting circuit, or nowhere near as big.
it is kind of a pain when i'm taking my Wii U to my mates house and i need to take other controllers if we want to play games that aren't smash, but looking at the big picture it's pretty whiny to complain that we can't play new games with gamecube controllers when we only got them in the first place because nintendo genuinely cares - you can't say that about any other gaming companies.
What would be absolutely brilliant is if additional Wii U Gamepads or 3DS/New 3DS consoles could be used to simulate additional GBA or Nintendo DS units for Wii U VC multiplayer, and players can utilise the save data from within different Wii U profiles for their own units.
"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"
