Topic: Which seems more likely to appear on Wii U VC - Fire Emblem: Binding Blade or Mother 3?

Both are quite popular games, and have been represented by Nintendo in the Super Smash Bros. series - Fire Emblem: Binding Blade has been represented in Super Smash Bros. Melee with Roy, and Mother 3 has been represented in Super Smash Bros. Brawl with Lucas, a stage based off Mother 3 (New Pork City), and several trophies in Brawl. Both were also never released in the west.

Which brings the question - which is more likely?

Fire Emblem

I wish they would make a fire emblem collection.

To me, neither seems likely at all, even though both would be appreciated.

And both of them have only received unofficial fan translations and have never actually been released in the west.

And they both need to be understood to be played properly.

Mother. Binding Blade is probably more likely to be re-made for a newer system.

- I would love a FE collection but I think it is unlikely. A Mother collection would also be welcome. I wonder how many downloads Earthbound sold? That and the GBA FE could help make collections possible if they sold well enough on the VC.

Definitely Binding Blade. Mother is a dead franchise, unlike Fire Emblem. As much as I'd like to see Mother 1 and 3 come to Virtual Console, it probably will never happen.

Well, they mentioned Mother 3 and Star Fox in the Nintendo Digital Event and look what happened...

I would also greatly enjoy these import releases as well!!! I'm surprised neither of these games have been released in Japan yet. The import releases that we've received already on VC aren't been translated, right?: Sin and Punishment N64, Mysterious Murasame Castle?

I'm mostly interested in the Fire Emblem games, to answer your question.

Yeah but the classic style Fire Emblem is dead as well. Any future ones will be like Awakening sadly.
