I really don't like the navigation bar of Nintendo Life continuously reappearing while browsing!!

Heh, I wrote a Top 5 just the other day.

My number one has to be Mother 3. I have no doubt it would make them much more money than it would cost to translate, especially given how amazingly well EarthBound has done for itself on Wii U.

Anyway, my top five (sticking to currently supported platforms):

1. Mother 3
2. Donkey Kong Country trilogy (seriously, Nintendo of America, it's not even funny anymore)
3. Yo! Noid (heh, I wish. I guess this is the only one here that 100% isn't gonna happen)
4. Sunset Riders
5. Disney NES games by Capcom (Darkwing Duck, Chip 'n' Dale, Tale Spin)

1-10: Mother 3

Seriously, if Nintendo ever releases Mother 3 in the west, I will buy 3 copies.

I can't really think of much more I would want that wasn't already on the Wii. Maybe DK64?

Jack of all trades, master of some

What's the story with the non-NIntendo systems? I have a load of Megadrive, Neo-Geo and TG16 games on VC that I want to bring onto my Wii U. It really bothers me having to go into the Wii Menu although I accept that Simcity and TMNT will be forever marooned there. Have they made any comment about these systems? and the N64?

I know gamers are always on at publishers to do stuff that actually doesn't make commercial sense but if these games are already on VC it's surely an automated process to add offscreen and save states. Or is it?

I get that drip feeding games ensures that they all get a moment in the spotlight but at this rate the system will be long dead before we even get half the games that were on the Wii.

My wish list is:

  • All the Turtle games (not going to happen)
  • Rondo of Blood TG16
  • Devil's Crush TG16
  • The Sonic games from MD/Genesis
  • Secret of Mana (and the sequel - not going to happen)
  • Metal Gear (preferably the MSX version - not going to happen)
  • Some version of SOTN (not going to happen - but still)

The XBOX 360 had Symphony of the Night. So why can't Wii U?

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

I'm only going to include games from consoles currently on the VC:

Donkey Kong Country trilogy
Star Fox
Marble Madness
Metroid: Zero Mission
Mega Man & Bass
Super Mario Advance 4 with e-reader content

And a few games on the Wii's VC that I'd like to see hit the Wii U's:

Super Star Wars trilogy
Ninja Gaiden 2 and 3
Bubble Bobble

I had no idea the Star Wars games were on the Wii - there goes some more money
