Is the DS version of Golden Sun a good game?

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

I liked all of the golden sun games and highly suggest any of them. I did enjoy the first two more than the ds version, but that is fine.
I found I enjoyed the DS version more the second and third play through.
