Topic: Something that surprised me

Honestly, I am surprised that the older pokemon games have not been released on either the 3ds or wii u for vc. I figured there must be someone who knows why on here.

Because no one wants them and trading would actually require effort to impliment on Nintendo's part, which they've consistantly shown they're completely unwilling to put in.

I know quite a few people that would want them, but the trading would be difficult I guess

I think a nice solution would be adding the stadium games to the wiiu as VC and offer the GBC games as dlc for that.

No need to add fancy emulation tricks to trade pokemon, stadium already does it.

People clearly still play the old games and I've never traded a Pokemon in my life and I still enjoy the games. Just a little sad I can never get those last few Pokemon (though I have enough games and consoles around I probably could trade with myself if I wanted to make that extra effort).

It seems they are more interested in remaking them. Also they would probably only want to put the remakes on VC as they fixed a lot of problems the old ones had.

Because they are horribly outdated

I have played some "remakes" but I find myself just going back to the old ones. As for the new ones...meh...can't get into them.
I did like the heart gold remake though.
