I've still yet to play a single Gunstar Heroes game. I always hear nice things about that series. If they put a collection together again for the U I'd buy it in a heart beat!
Maybe they should start with GBA and then put aside a portion of the profits until they can pay for something great that runs everything.
Yeah, they could start by releasing GBA games. I would like the Sonic Advance series on my GamePad. Honestly, no matter how small the userbase is, there is a quick buck to be made here. I mean, just look at Konami, they don't develop games for Wii U, but they still release VC games, because why not?

Its strange because it cannot be said they are not willing to put in any effort. Game Gear and the 3D Classics are the best of each type.
(Unlike say Capcom who could have given the perfect Arcade versions of loads of stuff bit didn't bother). Or the slowdown / sprite flicker fixed version of Super Ghouls n Ghosts.

That's a real shame, would love to see Saturn titles on the VC, not surprising though, we'd have seen something by now if they gave a damn about the thing
Saturn games would likely never have been on VC anyway, as that system is particularly difficult to emulate. Dreamcast games, on the other hand ...
Treasure got Guardian Heroes and Radiant Silvergun running on the 360, so they COULD if they wanted to.
But this is Sega, so they instead won't do anything at all.
