On Club Nintendo MK64 is a game reward for this month and it says Wii/Wii U. So I go on the eShop and Mk64 isn't there. If I redeem this code will i be able to play it with my Gamepad/Pro controller?

Go to wii shop inside wii mode and you will be able to download your ticket. You need a classic controller to play it. Also you can download more than 400 exclusive wii vc and wiiware games that never will be on wii u eshop.

@Booboos35: No only if the game is on the eShop can you use the Gamepad. If you get it in Wii Mode through the Wiishop you can only use the Wiimote with the CC or CCP attachment.

Dont have a wii classic or pro controller so I guess i can't play it. If it says Wii/Wii U on club nintendo they should really release it on Wii U :/

The reason it says Wii U is cause you can buy it on the Wii U through the Wii mode.

"Mario Kart 64 requires the Classic Controller™ (sold separately)." It's written in the description

Also: Nintendo Life says: "If you've ever wondered why so many game fans hold Mario Kart 64 as the best of the series, you only need take the game for a spin on the Virtual Console to see what all the fuss is truly about. It's easily one of the best Nintendo 64 releases of them all and an absolute must-have for any Mario Kart fan."

You have to go to the Wii Shop Channel in the Wii U's Wii Mode, not the Wii U eShop. It can only be played with the Classic Controller peripheral or the GameCube controller.

Recently I've been playing Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD, Link's Awakening, and Luigi's Mansion 3. Also replaying Rayman Legends and trying to get better at Smash Ultimate

I don't think Wii U supports GameCube controllers, if even late-gen Wiis didn't?

There is a 3rd party controller that has a switch that allows changing between Wii U Pro Controller mode and Classic Controller Pro mode. (If they can do it on a cheap controller I cannot see why Nintendo couldn't).

The controller is Gioteck GC2-WIU14 (The GC2-WIU12 is complete garbage and only emulates the classic controller badly).
