Probably going to skip this one for now. I mean yeah its only 30 cents but I have Mike Tyson's on cartridge, I have Punch Out on the Wii VC and 3DS so I really dont need another one. Maybe if it was Super Punch Out I would. Still I have a month to think about it.

Super Punch Out is a Club Nintendo reward right now. Weird timing, huh?

Will be grabbing this.

Why skip out on any of the anniversary games? .30 cents is a crazy good price even if you only play the game once. Think about it, back in the day we used to drop a quarter for 5 minutes of arcade gaming time alone.

Mainly its the fact that in order to spend .30 cents I have to buy a $10 card or pay $10 on the eShop to be able to get it. If it was that I could just pay 30 cents it would be fine. But whether I pay 30 cents or 3.00 I still have to pay 10 dollars and right now cause of Tomb Raider, Lego City, Castlevania and both versions of MHU I am a little tapped for cash game wise and cant justify buying another copy of said game.

Why don't you just charge your credit card $0.31 including tax? I'm guessing you haven't downloaded anything, but I'm pretty sure you can charge the exact ammount. Just go to try and purchase the game you don't have enough funds for(instead of the add funds tab), then it will ask if you want to add the exact ammount you need to buy the game.

Oh, I just put in my credit card and they process the .30 cent transactions individually.

Really I thought you had to get 10 dollars just to use 30 cents. I know that was what I had to do with Megaman II on the 3DS VC I had to spend 10 dollars just to get a five dollar game. Which normally isnt a problem but as I said my game budget is tapped till next month. I guess I will try that out here in a sec.

They fixed that on the 3DS eShop, now just go to purchase the game and an option will be there to add needed funds.

I can't wait to post a picture of king hippo being knocked out on miiverse.

I have a quick question. If I have this for the Wii VC on my Wii U does it transfer over to the Wii U section when I purchase it or will I have a copy on the Wii VC and the Wii U VC?

For now it's separate from the Wii VC version. It doesn't convert your Wii VC game into a Wii U VC game until the actual Wii U VC launches.

If you were Nintendo, would you want to give 2013 Tyson any more money?

I already have it on Cart, plus the 'Featuring Mr.Dream' Wii VC version with the sh**tty colors. No need to tripple dip, It's Cart or nothing for me in this case.

You should try the Wii version. It's fantastic.

Just for you.

I'm glad Punch Out!! Featuring Mr. Dream doesn't have the green haired Incredible Hulk man child from the arcade game.

Indeed. Who needs celebrity endorsement when you can have the king of kong? :3 But seriously, anybody who hasn't played Punch Out!! Wii should go do so as soon as possible, it's easily one of the best games on Wii.

Well, while the game seems to run fine as I should, have tos ay i'ma little disappointed. No idea what's up, i played up til 1st fight vs Piston Honda, I go for the * uppercut punches as I normally do, and i find myself missing shots already, I (never miss those shots!), this being done with the pro controller mind you. I'd heard afewpeople too say they have lag using the GamePad, which I didn't but used the screen only for a short moment and yeah, I feel like something's off here. Both controllers werefully charged no problem, and i didn't seem to have a problem with Balloon Fight or F-Zero, so unless it's just me, I don't get it.

While i do have to admit this 1's a classic no less, Super and Wii versions were slightly more interesting because the mechanics on punches are a bit different concerning supers The Wii version i only ever played with a Classic controller, though, so i didn't feel much difference there. Honestly what woulda been cool if they ever do next time around, take the same boxing style Super had, and add how you're able to gain health back while your opponent's down for the count.

I don't recall having any problems with the controls. Perhaps some sort of tv lag?

I think this is the best version of the game ever. You can tell how fast and smooth it runs on Wii U being full HD and all... I don't get why anyone would ever turn down a 30¢ game.
