Do you prefer the colorful cheery visuals of the (NES) classic Kirby's Adventure or the more drab, but detailed visuals of its (GBA) remake Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland? The poll will be open through the end of November and if I'm unable to update it at any point another member is more than welcome to update the poll on my behalf!

I vote Kirby's Adventure (NES) It's color palette and art-style look much better in my opinion!

Which Game Has Better Visuals?

Kirby's Adventure: 3 votes.

Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland: 2 votes.

Let the poll commence!

Kirby's Nightmare in Dreamland for me. I usually have a weakness for modern/newer visuals.

A dying animal struggles, thrashes and howls in protest as its life torn from it. To see this in action, watch Animal Planet. The same thing happens when a video game is or isn't released. To see this in action, stay here.

I would go for Adventure (NES) but I cannot play it with the slowdown (only the 3D Classic).

GBA.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

The visuals for Kirby's Adventure are more colorful and to be quite frank, more creative. It pushed the NES to its limits and it shows, with some of the best visuals to ever grace the platform.

The visuals for Nightmare in Dreamland are decent, but they come off as rather bland and uninspired. Not to mention, for some strange reason Nightmare in Dreamland removed certain visual effects that were in the NES version like the rotating tower in Butter Building. That was despite being on much more powerful hardware.

So, my vote goes to Kirby's Adventure on the NES.
