Wasn't Miyamoto himself stunned last year when an interviewer told him that gamers might actually want a new F-Zero game?

Take note, that you can't listen to something you can't hear.
Honestly, I'd be pretty content with an F-Zero either the 3DS OR the Wii U. I'm thinking it might be on the 3DS at this point. We didn't have a DS F-Zero, but we did get Starfox and Metroid on the DS.

So your logic is that no one should ever criticise Nintendo's VC service...because the games that we want 'eventually' come to the service? Ok....never mind the fact that the 'work' and licencing necessary to release those titles onto the VC doesn't ever take years - Nintendo's own release schedule is what takes that long.

If Nintendo really 'listened', Earthbound would've been out years ago, Xenoblade would've been released in NA maybe a month after the EU at worst, and there'd be a new F-Zero game in everyone's hands like right now, lol. You may as well have posted this back when Smash Bros. hit the Wii VC years ago, it's as 'true' now as it would've been back then.

btw, what's the cool thing to be demanding for VC these days? now that earthbound's finally out, i'm not sure what to expect complaints about :3

If Nintendo listened they would get rid of region locking, make a unified account system across the WIi U and 3DS, make it so that when you buy a game on VC it can be played on both systems, have friend invites to games on the Wii U like its competitors have had for more than half a decade, have another F-Zero game of some form by now...

Doing what people want only makes sense if they actually want it. A lot of these fan requests aren't as popular as the loudness of the fans shouting it. If they made a new F-Zero it'd probably sell better than ZombiU did but that doesn't mean it'd be worth it

@skywake Who said it had to be on Wii U? If a 3DS version was made, it would probably make a solid profit if it sold slightly better than ZombiU. It wouldn't cost much, and Nintendo could just outsource it to a 3rd party like they did last time to keep their current devs from working on it. Just a thought.

I am going to miss those "When is Earthbound coming to VC" threads.
But knowing those Nintendo fanboys, they will have something new to complain about.
At less we will still have those "RARE should go back to Nintendo" threads, they never get old.
