First party games and we'll see them probably 2016 or something, I don't know. If I've learned anything about Ninty, it's that they're unpredictable....
The only feature (I hear) was added in the Wii was to save snapshots to the Wii Message Board (as an alternate to the original console, which required bringing the cart to a Blockbuster store to print them).
I think Super Mario 64 is basically guaranteed to be there. I don't think we'll see Ocarina of Time due to it currently being on the 3DS.
I wouldn't be surprised if Ocarina of Time is the reason the whole service was delayed and the possibility of more 3D remakes! (Though it probably has more to do with the restore point feature... or their current push for GBA..) I'm sure they'll release it. Particularly as they don't assume Wii U owners all have a 3DS. For example, after they released the 3D classics version of Kid Icarus they haven't released an ordinary virtual console version on 3DS. But they have on Wii U!

They're not going to delay a whole system just because of one game. They just won't release that game if they don't want to. They probably have difficulty emulating the N64 or just they want more sales of the current systems.
Also, Ocarina of Time 3D is over three years old at this point. I can't imagine it being a HUGE part of their sales by now, especially as its a remake of a game people probably own a few times by this point. (though New SMB did seem to be a continual seller the entire life of the DS. At least I would guess that's why they didn't drop the price, except maybe at the end. I'm not sure. When they did the red case reprint, did they still charge full price?)
That quote has been posted before but here's my list of wanted N64 games:
Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask
Pokemon Snap
Conker's Bad Fur Day
Jet Force Gemini
Banjo-Kazooie
Banjo Tooie
Donkey Kong 64
Super Mario 64
Diddy Kong Racing
Perfect Dark
Yoshi's Story
F-Zero X
Blast Corps
Rare games won't be available with the exception of maybe Donkey Kong 64 and less likely but possibly Diddy Kong Racing... but you can download Banjo Kazooie, Tooie and Perfect Dark on xbox live
They should release everything on the Wii's VC and other N64 games that never made it on the Wii's VC, like Mario Party 1 and 3.
Second that on Mario Party 3. Mario Party 2 was awesome to have and play, but I wanted 3 really badly too. It's got some great mini games, and some super fun modes that haven't been topped yet, like the dual mode.
I would be okay with them doing what they did for the Wii U virtual console with letting your transferred Wii virtual console games be next to nothing. I would love to play Majora's Mask without having to use the classic controller.
A new adventure, another day. One more challenge that comes our way.
If you could please check out my cousin's new gaming blog. She's a talented journalist who writes about video games with a passion. I greatly appreciate it!

I do believe any game made by rare would not reach VC status, maybe thats why we never saw Banjo Kazooie & Tooie on the Wii VC. I know it sucks that we don't have them on the VC but I guess thats the truth. Also please correct me if i'm wrong.
They going to hit us up for $2 to upgrade our N64 games?
They should be releasing them now since there isn't anything coming out for a few months. No way is it a technical issue where they are having trouble making them work.
$2 seems like a reasonable guess based off precedence if they ever release N64 Wii U downloads.
I don't see why Diddy Kong Racing and Donkey Kong 64 are assured of not happening. Their release wouldn't harm Microsoft any and as it stands, neither Nintendo or Rare is earning anything off those assets. if Rare has a say there, something that never has been established but is widely speculated on thanks to such actions as the removal of the Donkey Kong Country trilogy off the Wii's VC as if a license had expired (And the absence of these two N64 games on the Wii's VC and the missing Donkey Kong Land games on the 3DS), I don't see why they wouldn't want to play ball.

Something is better than nothing.
They did release Donkey Kong Land on the 3DS tho, it's only in Japan at the moment and it was released after they took off the DKC games from the Wii.
Looks like all three were released, including a Japan only colorization of Donkey Kong Land III for the GBC that I never heard about. Thanks for pointing that out and correcting me.
It may or may not be a promising sign for some of these other Rare projects that are tied in with Nintendo IP, but at least that should mean that these three make their way West eventually.
