Would it be reasonable to assume the NEO-GEO games from the Wii VC will make the jump to the Wii U eShop? There are a couple that I would still like to purchase, but I am reluctant if there will never be an eShop upgrade option available. If other consoles are introduced in the Wii U eShop, do you think they will have an upgrade discount like what is currently available for NES/SNES VC games?

I think it'll happen eventually. But we're still waiting for all the old VC systems to get added back again and it's taking much too long.

I hope so. A lot of these games really deserve the Miiverse treatment.

Although my Japanese Wii is my primary VC system I'm making it a point to get as many of these games as possible in the eShop, both to support it and because I play my Wii U a lot more so there's better chance of these games actually being played. I seriously doubt the PC Engine catalogue will be equivalent or that the MSX games will come out overseas which is a real shame.

Ok, so I just went ahead and picked up "NAM 1975" finally from the Wii channel. Great game, full of nostalgia for me. Anyway, I checked to see if I would gain Club Nintendo points for the purchase and I came across this: http://www.nintendolife.com/news/2013/01/club_nintendo_accoun...
Jeez, it's always something with Nintendo!
