There was an anime based on Medabots on Fox Kids.

I remember the anime. Can't say I watched it too much though.

But I did have a toy, it was a transparent blue version of the main yellow robot and I had to build it from scratch. I really liked it.

I never really looked into the games though...

The main series games were, yup! They were RPG with interesting battle mechanics like having to destroy all parts of the medabots body. Customization was also a big feature that was really fun and helpful to mess around with and there was a lot of extra content post end game. They're fairly over looked games, definitely worth a shot.

Hope they'll arrive in Europe too!

Sure it would be better if they arrived sooner, I recovered not long ago a GBA Medabots game from Ebay, but I will double tip for show there is interest for the franchise here!! (Even if I would like to not waste money... Trust your awesome franchises a bit more Natsume DX )

IT'S FINALLY HAPPENING!

I was just about to buy the cart for $15 on eBay. Honestly, I still might, since it's just going to be only a couple bucks less on Wii U VC. It was designed for handheld anyways, which is what I really don't like about GBA VC being on Wii U instead of 3DS. But regardless, I'm beyond excited!!

I'm sure the review will tell us, but whats the differences between the different versions? I went with the Metabee version.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

@Retro_on_theGo It looks like Natsume did the same thing that Capcom did in the Battle Network games! It appears that you obtain all exclusive content from the opposite version of the game from the start.

@Neko_Rukiafan: Really? I was honestly waiting do download the game cause I still have to finish the metabee version on cartdridge (who knew they were gonna release these games on VC an year ago? XD), but if the VC versions grants access to everything then it could be more worthy to restart there ^_^

@Retro_on_theGo: Granted I only played the Metabee version, but that made me guess the Rokusho one should be harder, afterall isn't Rokusho a berserk type, unable to defend and dodge after every attack? Having such a risky Medabot as the only resource at the begin of the game sounds more dangerous than having Metabee XD;;;

@BakaKnight I'm not sure lol. I'm just going off of what I've read. Kind of makes sense if you assume the intro to each game is the same and not scaled for the Medabot you have.

Sweet! Glad to hear that. I'll probably pick up Rokusho version in that case.

what are the missables in the game? i don't want to miss parts or medals with no way to return back to them.
