According to Graham Markay of Natsume, who shared the news on the latest Fragments of Silicon podcast, Natsume has plans for 8 GBA games on the Virtual Console, which they have been working on getting released for awhile. 4 of them (assuming they release both versions of the games) are the previously announced Medabots: An RPG Adventure and Medabots: AX. The next revealed title is Pock & Rocky with Becky. Assuming the Medabots games will be the first to release, these GBA games will start rolling out in June.
Natsume said before Harvest Moon 64 won't be coming any time soon because it's very difficult to emulate.
That was years ago and in reference to the original Wii and Nintendo's N64 emulator at the time. There has been nothing said about it in relation to the Wii U and its presumably more robust and accurate N64 emulator.
Or at least nothing that I've seen, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
Too bad, hopefully they were just hastily assuming that the same issues from last time with the previous emulator, would again crop up with the Wii U iteration.
Wouldn't be the first time that such a definitive statement, ended up changing in the end.
Nice one Natsume.
Oh and my apologies Pocky and Rocky 1 and 2 for Snes, Pocky and Rocky 1 and 2 for Snes, Pocky and Rocky 1 and 2 for Snes phew I'm done.
Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.
If they release Pocky & Rocky with Becky, I hope they also plan on releasing Pocky & Rocky 1 and 2 as I think they are better.
I pray you're right. I'd kill for at least just the first SNES game. But I'm so excited for the GBA one, I just mentioned me wanting the SNES one the other day too. How strange, they almost heard me correctly.
Natsume had always been heavily involved with licenses, whether it be localizing games by other companies (Harvest Moon) or developing games based on licenses for other companies (which might explain why on the SNES, Bandai's Power Rangers game (at least the first) "feels" very similar to Taito's Ninja Warriors).
Even the Pocky & Rocky IP I think was created by Taito. (as P&R for GBA seems based more on Taito's original arcade game than the, probably much better, SNES game, which I'm not sure who actually created)
