Well, folks. Mega May has officially ended with the release of Mega Man Battle Network 4 and a surprise release of Mega Man Zero 3. I've decided to make this thread a discussion about Mega Man VC games in general. The change will take effect starting Friday.

Mega Man Zero 3 was an excellent surprise. I'm glad they decided to end the promotion with one of the absolute best Mega Man games period.

Looks like most of the eligible games have been released by now, if we count both Americas and Europe. My memory fails me, but did Battle Network stop with number 4 or where there more? I'm also not sure if Capcom is willing to release DS games on Virtual Console, altough there aren't many.
I'm planning to get Zero 2 and 3 as soon as I finish the first game on my gamepad. I also just got megaman 8 on Vita. Lots of mega man to play at the moment!
If Nintendo decided to add Dreamcast or Saturn as VC, what Mega Man game comes in mind?
Only Megaman 8 and Megaman X4 for Saturn since those were the only ones released on it(Dreamcast got nothing).

To be honest, it's not like you're missing much with the latter X games after X4. Though X5 and X8 are good games.
It would be nice, however, if Capcom would re-release MM9 and 10 on the eShop. I really want off-TV play for them.

I guess I'm one of the few who like X8 and think it's a good game in and of itself (and not just in comparison to X7).
I liked X8 although I do blame Capcom for the lazy work they did on level design and graphics (Zero's 3D model looks horrible), the PS2 was capable of much more .... despite that X8 is a fun game with nice add ons (play as Alia, voice, nice 2d anime character design, etc).
X5 is my second favorite MMX game after SNES X3 so I will miss that game (alongside X4) in my Wii U
I'm feeling fatigue towards the Battle Network series now.
Mega Man hasn't been dead long enough for me to care about all of his past games. But I will download Mega Man & Bass day one though when it comes here.
Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.
I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
