With the release of Mario Party 2 in North America today, let's hear some thoughts on these three Mario Party titles that have been released worldwide finally namely (Advance), (DS) & (2)?
Good thread, thanks for starting it - hopefully we get some responses.
From my side, I've actually only played one Mario Party (10), my kids love it - I do think about picking up a VC game. Looked at the reviews - but interested in people's opinions. Tempted by DS as the newest, but maybe 2 at least offers multiplayer... might wait for a sale
Out of the three available, MP2 is the best, and MPA is the worst.
Did you know that the dice rolls are fixed on Mario Party DS? If you save before you roll the dice, then keep reloading, its the same number every time regardless of when you press the button to stop rolling.

I don't even count Mario Party Advance as a proper Mario Party game.
As I recall, it was mostly a single-player only game.
The only multiplayer was some minigame modes and a game that required you to play with your own pieces on a paper board that came with the game (if this game is on VC now, I wonder how they handled that?)
