@GoneFishin There isn't LAN capabilities for multiple Wii U consoles in general. As shown by the EGX NintendoLife MK8 tournament, the only way to connect multiple Wii U consoles is via an online connection (which in the example I gave led to someone getting a communication error during the final where the winner got every 2015 Wii U game, sad but nothing else could've been done).

That's besides the point.

Regardless of the status of LAN capabilities on the system or the fact that it could be accomplished via software by allowing two Wii U systems within range of each other to talk directly via WiFi, the point was that it would be pointless to implement such a thing.

How often would people be in a situation where they could take advantage of such functionality? And who is going to go out of their way to take advantage of it, unlike something like Halo when it was new on the Xbox?

It would be a feature without a real use and not worth Nintendo's trouble. The only way that GBA multiplayer would've been of any use is if it could be done from a single console while splitting the screen (Or alternately, one person plays on tv and one on the gamepad). But clearly, even just two person multiplayer was out of reach or I'm sure that the wizards at M2 would've coded it in.

Just not enough horsepower apparently to run two instances of their GBA emulator simultaneously (Or even more... I assume Super Circuit supported up to 4 players linked?).

But didn't they say that during E3 that the Splatoon demo was using LAN for its multiplayer? Of course, they could have been using modified Wii Us to make this happen.

I never got to play Multiplayer with it back when I owned on GBA so the Wii U version missing that feature doesn't effect me

Pretty much how I feel about it. Out of my friends I am the only one who had this game so we could never play it multiplayer, we just took turns playing the single player game.

Fair enough if you don't mind no multiplayer. I just think they should have lowered the price a bit.

It already has a lower price compared to buying 2 GBAs, 2 Copies of the game, and a connection cable in order to play two player. When you buy a VC GBA game you get the content that having 1 GBA would have. If there was multiplayer in the VC version I think they would have had to charge more

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

Between this and Super Mario Kart, which should I pick up? I have played them all, but its been years since I have touched the original and the GBA game.

Well, Super Mario Kart comes with multiplayer.

But Super Circuit includes all the single player content from Super Mario Kart as unlockable tracks in addition to its own original content.

So, it's up to you. Do you want multiplayer or content?

I seem to be pretty bad at Super Mario Kart, but maybe that's just because I've never played it too much. On the other hand, I have played Super Circuit quite a bit more, but it is pretty fun to try to unlock those tracks. You'll definitely feel proud after you do, too, since they're pretty dang hard to unlock, The driving in these games are very similar to each other, as well, which I can't say is a good thing. I don't think they really nailed the hammer on the needle on driving, IMO, until DS/Wii era when it comes to that. N64 was pretty good too, though.

Also have multiplayer functions, 1 cartrigde for 4 player mode. But they are impossible to play in 3DS embassador and Wii U VC. I think Nintendo must bring this games with discount because they are incomplete.

If you think the GBA games are to expensive at $8, eight dollars, then I'm sorry, but that's just ridiculous. Consider that these games went for $30 when they came out, and you'll still be pressed to find a better price for them used nowadays.
