This may have been convered somewhere, but I can't seem to find it. Anyone have any idea how to (assuming you can) flip the screen so a lefty can play? The way it plays now, Im just covering what would be the top screen with my hand. Not exactly ideal.

I'm left-handed as well and, to my knowledge, there is no way to convert the Gamepad to be more "lefty" friendly.

What game are you trying to play exactly?

The only real game I have an issue with is Pikmin 3. They recently updated the controls to include 'stylus' controls. It encourages the gamer to have the stylus in their right hand while pressing the L-shoulder button with the left. Thing is, lefties don't have their left hand free to press that button....they are too busy holding the stylus with that hand.

Well I was just messing around with Brain Training, which gives an option to flip the gamepad to play left handed which is okay but not as comfortable. I can just see it becoming a problem in the future if I wanted to download and DS games. For some reaosn, I am fine using the stylus with my right hand as long as I'm not writing or something, but using my left would be ideal.

that's the curse of being left handed, not many games have options that are lefty friendly... :/

The joys of being mildly ambidextrous. While I can't write with both hands, I can do just about everything else with both. I'm actually kind of surprised the gamepad doesn't have a mirror option for left-handed users, though.
