Topic: Is nintendo going to make tied accounts?

Lets all be honest both eshops need work!

Thats a rumour going around. Wouldn't be suprised is its common knowledge the eStore and Nintendo Network are both Works in Progress.

Nintendo could really step it up
With downloadable content becoming the new trend people are scared to download from nintendo
Look at playstation you have an email adress and password to log into your account you can log in on any ps3
Nintendo needs to do the same thing which I think they are i mean when the wii and dsi were around there was wii virtual console and dsiware

They should, I doubt they will.

They didnt get to where they are by doing nothing theyve done something right i mean your even logged onto a website called nintendo life

I tied account for 3DS with Wii U and i wish maybe for Wii too because i don´t like the Wii mode. So we can have all our downloads in our account, and if i sell my console or i go with my friends i can play my downloads without risk my console in public transport.

I really hope Nintendo implement a system like this at some point. I'm still annoyed that I lost all my downloads when I lost my first 3DS and I'm reluctant to download anything on my new 3DS until they do implement a system like this. If it was a Sony or Microsoft console, I'd still have all those downloads.

With E3 coming up, anything's possible.
@FonistofCruxis You can actually reclaim downloads like that if you call Nintendo and have a working club nintendo account linked to your 3DS. They will refund up to $200.

I think they will by the end of the year at the earliest.
Nintendo being the company in charge of such decisions isn't a relevant argument. None of their consoles were even POSSIBLY linkable until Wii U came out.

On a forum on here someone compared a wii u to a microwave?

You may be able to get it back, but it's the only way I know of.
