Topic: GBA games on Wii U VC

When I heard this, I thought, "What the...?" I mean, shouldn't this be on 3DS VC and Gamecube VC on Wii U VC? It's a bit weird don't you think? Also what about other systems?

Yeah Nintendo's probably gonna announce Gamecube on the 3DS. Just watch.

My guess is so they can use GamePad for the connectivity

They'll hopefully announce them for the 3DS too, it seems illogical not to.

I dont know Nintendo did say that GBA games were only for the early adopters of the 3DS. So by putting them on the Wii U they hold true to their word and we still get GBA games.

Great news since I don't own a 3DS! Hope Gameboy and Color are show up as well.

I wanted Saturn and Game Cube, not Game Boy player. But hooray Fire Emblem I guess. GBA Fire Emblem is still the the best in the series so far. Here's hoping we see Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals translated on the Wii U service.

I doubt we will get a Pokemon game. Maybe Mystery Dungeon. But I really want Drill Dozar

I'll have to say I was surprised by this. Was hoping for GameCube, but hey, maybe they're working on it.

I'm hoping when/if the 3DS gets GBA games fully that we'll be able to play both versions on the Wii U and 3DS, like what Sony did for PS1 games on the PSP/Vita and PS3.

But I was very surprised about this, and while it is good, I'd rather prefer that they focused on getting more console VC games out. So GameCube games could be on VC. And I'll finally be able to play Tales of Symphonia.

I remember awhile back Iwata saying something like gamers were wondering if they could play their 3DS games on Wii U and he thought gamers wanting to play handheld games on the big screen was strange. Then gamers were all like "No it wouldn't be strange. Remember the Game Boy Player!"... And today Iwata gives us the Game Boy Player on VC.

You gotta be careful what you say to this guy.
