Because it doesn't to me. Sure its nicer to have it in 60hz but I've been playing 50hz since the early nineties when I started gaming so it doesn't bother me at all. It certainly wouldn't put me off buying a VC game just because it was in 50hz.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

It annoyed me in the early 90's enough to get a switch installed on my SNES (At risk because if it went wrong I would have had SNES and no money to get another).

Properly PAL optimized stuff was ok in 50hz like Donkey Kong Country. (Full speed / Full Screen).

(Same applied to Amiga stuff that all works best at 50hz like Speedball 2 for example).

Wii U is worse because the Gamepad is a 60hz screen.

The game is not in the indented to be played at 50hz, and gameplay, sound and other features are crippled because of it. Some games such as Link to the Past and Super Metroid are optimised to a degree, but I can't take someone seriously if they can say that Sonic 1 at 50hz is as good as in 60hz. The game runs noticeably worse. That is a fact.
