I never play DS games before. I'm looking forward to buy a Wii U console if this happens along with GBA VC announcement of what games would be available of course.

You know what game I'd love to play again on the big screen? Patners in Time and Bowser's Inside Story. I already own them and its totally stupid for me to buy them again, but damn I loved Partners in Time so much. Its one of the few games I'd consider buying again. Once again I know its stupid...but I really love that game T_T

I'd really love to buy a glitch free version of Harvest Moon DS

If not, at least the "Cute" (aka for girl) version.

I don't wish to see Mario Kart DS on the Wii U VC as it's online play is literally unplayable thanks to constant cheaters, however - If Nintendo would fix that for the VC release than that would make it worthwhile

Chrono Trigger, please!

oh and.. if they would release Advance Wars here, i'd be really happy. i've never played the games, but i've only heard good things.. so i'm definitely curious!

if i'm not mistaken.. there are 2 DS advance wars games and 2 GBA AW games, correct?
hopefully we'll get all 4 of them

Wiiu has weak download content at the moment, having ds would certainly increase sales.
More game have on a system the more success it will have.

ds has 2 screens the main game should be on tv and map, guns on game pad screen,of tv play just should have game on gamepad.
Ds will be very interesting console to have on wiiu and of course wiiu has 2 screens tv as first and gamepad as second,so there should be no problems.

They should seriously limit the number of VC games that are ports of other games that could be VC games. They've already announced one, that's one too many IMO.

Some playlists: Top All Time Songs, Top Last Year
"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"

Chrono! Chrono! Chrono! (And Final Fantasy IV too for good measure!)

I could care less about GBA games, but DS will be quite exciting! Especially if they're cross-buy with the 3DS once they come out for that.

If Nintendo were to actually put in new online servers for Mario Kart DS in the Wii U VC version to replace the dying ones, then I would certainly buy it. After all, Mario Kart DS is one of the best games in the series.

I agree with this, they have a huge opportunity to bring new life to their DS games (not the cartridges of course but you know what I mean).

Yes, because Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow and Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal are on the 3DS VC.

Well, it may be hard to emulate a link cable... But I don't see how wireless communications with real DS games and online interactions would be problematic.

Exactly, it would be a cinch to allow online trading via the DS Pokemon games so that whole theory that it would be impossible to emulate is plain wrong. If that were the case it would be impossible to port any game with online functionality to another system and we all know it's not.

Sega Game Gear games do emulate the link cable so a company that's far more powerful should be able to do it with ease.

It would be pretty awesome if nintendo released the Pokemon games with (at least) local wireless for trading and battling with the physical games on a DS.

But honestly, it's not that they can't. They simply don't seem to care about it.
