I don't remember a problem last year, but I would still be happy if it was released

I think last year Pokemon Bank was blamed for the server congestion/outtage.
(also, Christmas of the first full year the Wii U was out = probably several new owners wanting digital games)
Enough that Nintendo said they would turn their servers off during the off-peak hours.
I definitely remember wanting to play FF4/Mystic Quest on my Wii and being unsuccessful getting through the Wii Shop until trying routinely for a couple days.
