They've announced Earthbound so that's probably the only game they'd ever make a big deal about. All I can see them doing now is announcing more consoles like Gamecube, Dreamcast or maybe Virtual Boy and GBA for the 3DS. If it counts as "VC" they could potentially announce DS games on the 3DS eShop and Wii games on the Wii U eShop. That would probably be worthy of putting into E3. They could also announce something like allowing you to link your 3DS to your NNID for a unified eShop account.
If it's just what we expect to happen, i.e. more content but nothing that the Wii didn't already have, then I doubt it.

I hope they do. And then they announce that they'll be bringing Gamecube games to it like everyone wants them to.
I'd love to see them say 'and now, Super Mario Sunshine, Super Smash Bros Melee and Pikmin are available to buy on Wii U Virtual Console!'
As long as SSBM is VC, I'm happy, since that is the only GC game I have and it is now just sitting there. Path of Radiance would be nice too because I've been really wanting to play it.
Pikmin wouldn't make sense though seeing as both games have been rereleased for Wii.
Sega support. Master System, Genesis, Sega CD, 32X, Saturn, and Dreamcast.
Otherwise whatever they announce (aside from Gamecube or Amiga) won't matter much to me unless it's that.

That'd be perfect. The games seem like they were made for the 3DS, but they couldn't invent one in the 90's, so what resulted was a ghetto 3DS (aka Virtual Boy).

If they were to mention anything about it, I'd assume it would be a quick say about Earthbound, but in general, I think these kinds of things are more suitable for Nintendo Directs. Not that I would be mad to hear about more games coming at E3, I just find it less likely.

I do hope they announce some other Platforms for the VC.
Amiga, and all Sega Consoles & Add-ons for Wii U please.
But for a start, N64 and GC for Wii U, and give Europe / NA alignment with Japan for 3DS. I want the Sega 3D Classics and Game Gear games.
I also want all of the Japan Wii VC Arcade and PC Engine games that Europe missed out on
