Very few people seem to be talking about the name..... does that not sound like it has something to do with flight?

The director (Aounuma? Something like that) has already hinted that flight would play a role in the game. At the end of the trailer, Link spreads his arms out like a bird and jumps off a cliff. I predicted last year that Link would probably have the ability to turn into a bird-like creature (a-la Twilight Princess) but who knows?

apparently the glitches miyamoto experienced really were due to interference; those who have played hands on so far have said the motion recognition is far better than red steel 2 or sports resort. it's looking like this game will set a new standard for how motion in games should work. what seems really cool is that you can throw bombs like bowling balls

this one's a good read: http://www.gamexplain.com/article-128-1276627419-e3-2010-the-...

I don`t get it. This game looks Game of the Year worthy, yet people are disappointed?

Why? The graphics?
I`m siked for it! :D

I'm so excited for this game. Other than the glitchy/interference during the presentation, it looked great. Nintendo had a great E3 IMO.

Yep, Aonuma is the director, Kid A. But I don't remember that. He hinted about flight before?

The cliff thing seems a good indication of it, and after I laughed off IGN's assumption that the wolf in the trailer meant Link was a werewolf, I'm not going to overlook little things like this anymore with Zelda, haha.

Yeah, all hands-on impressions I've read have confirmed that the controls work very well, so poor Miyamoto just got screwed over on stage. Giving a live demonstration of any tech is a frightening matter, because these things always find a way to happen.

I am a bit dissapointed in the art direction Nintendo took here. It looks like a Wind Waker-style world with a misplaced Twilight Princess Link.

The gameplay looks awesome though.

Yeah, I agree it was a big disappointment that the graphic design looked like it was inferior to TP and although the M+ is cool, It looked way too cartoonie

the thing is that cell shaded ages better then normal 3D. Look at twilight princess in a few years then look at SS. I hope we can can get some really dark TP styles areas with this graphics engine.

To be honest I never expected to see a whip in a Zelda game.

I think that there is one in Spirit Tracks, but I don't know for sure. And honestly I didn't expect it either, I just wanted it, really, really bad. Now Link needs a brown leather jacket and a fedora.......

The graphics were exactly what I was hoping for. Wind Waker vibes but still a human-looking Link. I'm already sold on this game. :3

I've never played Spirit Tracks so I wouldn't really know.

And I agree 100% RWP. This game will only get better and better which is really saying something. There should have been DLC for an Indiana Link. :P

A Whip huh...Von Karma must've dropped it. :P

This is looking to be quite excellent. The Gameplay shown in the conference looked great and I like the graphical style. I'm not a fan of Cel-Shaded Graphics in Zelda games (They're not a huge detractor for me but I prefer the more realistic look like in TP) but I think they've got it right this time, a midway point between TP and Wind Waker which is a nice change.

As I got my first look, and saw cell-shaded adult link, I just thought "that is PERFECT!" Bright and colourful, but not too cartoonish. As for the gameplay, I think I'll like the simplified menu system and the controls also look quite good (accounting for the interference). I think it's a little gimmicky to have to swing your sword in a certain angle against a few enemies, I guess I'll decide after playing. Over all, quite impressive.
