I'm not saying they're bad for everyone, but "practice" is not going to change my personal opinion of them; I've used them enough to make a decision. The fact of the matter is if this game used traditional controls for the bombs I would never have this problem. That alone shows that they can hurt the experience.

I'm just as far as you but on the second set of dungeons. You're on your way to one of the most unique areas in a Zelda game, by the way, and it only gets crazier when you come back to it later.
I didn't need much, if any, practice on any of the other items. I had a ton of trouble with bomb controls for all of the Eldin section of part one, which lasted me a few hours, so I don't think it's really much a matter of practice. No one part of a video game should take hours of practice. That's just bad controls, to me. Thankfully, I haven't need to use bombs much sense, at least not while on a short fuse or while being attacked by a giant monster.

I hated the bomb controls for awhile but I really dig 'em now. Just takes practice.
I got frustrated in the Ordon area, not knowing how to roll bombs... You probably know what part I'm talking about... Now it's second nature...
With kind regards,

.....Ok how exactly do you do a stupid "final strike" thing? It says to move the wiimote and nunchuck up and press A. But it won't work...I'm at the final boss, so yeah...this is irritating. T.T (especially since I have to turn the game off and restart everything to keep the potions I have. >_>)What do you do exactly to pull that thing off? :/
Name is Joey btw.
I love Erica (Strike Witches), Eureka (Eureka Seven), and Tenma (School Rumble), stay away from them. xD
Update: Also love Yukari and Mizore from Rosario + Vampire.
Another Update: Also Yuuki...from School Rumble...
P.S: Great Jaggi says "Hey!".

... You been doing it all the time... You never ONCE did it before?!Spoilers
I guess you fought Ghirahim differently then.
Just get close and move your Wii Remote and Nunchuck down at the same time.

**SPOILERS**I usually do it every now and then when trying, but any other time (which happens to be the very last boss...not G) it takes it as a Shield Thrust or Spin Attack. By the time I DO get it right, I miss him. (and end up taking damage, ugh)Guess I'll try down next time, though I did beat the game...but at least I still needed help on that problem. xD (since its gonna be a lot worse in Hero Mode. >.>)

Do you Skyward Sword fans agree that Skyloft is the best main town in the Zelda franchise?
Everyone living in Skyloft has great personalities and different while Twilight Princess has nothing but stereotypes in Hyrule Castle Town.

Can anyone assist me?
For the Lumpy Pumpkin Harp sidequest, I've played the Harp a lot and I keep failing it. I don't know if I'm supposed to hold the Wii Remote a certain way while playing the Harp. Does anyone have ANY tips?

On Faron Woods. So far it's awesome, to the surprise of no one. But it isn't quite "best Zelda ever" yet. But I see it getting there as the game is basically Twilight Princess without any of the complaints people had about Twilight Princess.

Bug catching net can be found in Beedle's Shop in Skyloft. Just take a look at the sky there and you should see the flying house, ring the bell and get in.
11 hours played just cleared the second dungeon. The boss was easier than first dungeon boss but it was a neat battle. I'm enjoying the game very much, I haven't had a game like this for a long time

Wow, the second half of this game is already better than the first half. If you thought Hyrule felt a bit small and lacking, just wait until you re-venture to Faron Woods.
SPOILERSOkay, how massively cool are these Trial segments? The first time my flower gauge ran out and the crazy guardian guys started chasing me, I flipped. This is the closest a video game has come to replicating a nightmare. Also, how do we all feel about the swimming controls? I dig 'em, but I have a feeling some won't take kindly to the use of motion controls for these segments. They do seem unnecessary for swimming, and it makes me wonder how well this game will age once motion controls inevitably get better/more accurate in the not-so-distant future.
So far, I think this may be the best 3D Zelda

Second time already when my help comes too late in the same thread. Maybe I'd be faster after changing my username to something like Sonic xD
