Who cares how long it is? It's supposed to have great songs that Zelda fans have grown to love. I guess expecting the obvious is too much to... expect.
Just for you.

To you. Not to me.
No orchestrated version of Dark Woods, no deal.

this is a good point
I will say the overuse of the main theme is kinda annoying.

Can anyone assist me with the Lumpy Pumpkin sidequest with the Harp? I haven't been able to play it right. Does anyone have any tips? Thanks a lot!

It's cool that it's orchestrated and all but there's just nothing worth listening to and being like "Oh how I loved listening to song while playing A Link to the Past <3 ". Just no nostalgia whatsoever.

So, after I found all of the three Kikwis, I leveled up my shield. How far can you upgrade your wooden shield, actually?

The orchestrated soundtrack came with the game regardless which is what I wanted. The golden remote isn't really something I NEED rather I have a golden remote already: GoldenEye's CC Pro. But I don't find the soundtrack to be THAT great. Definitely not what I was expecting.
what were you expecting?
We knew the deal and what was going to be on the disc weeks before release. CD only got me hyped for next year's tour.

Best Zelda in a while, though I thought the story and especially the music was a let down.
How do you successfully hit Giharam or whatever he's called? It seems that no matter how I swing he always catches my sword. :/EDIT: Also I'm assuming that I'm getting close to the end of the game...just finished the 6th dungeon.
You have to fake him out.
See how his hand follows your sword when he puts it up, leave it in one set position for a while, then move your sword again, you'll notice his hand isn't moving anymore. Hit him from the other side, he still thinks the sword is coming from the position you locked it in a second ago.

The story is my favorite part. It's not so bleak like OoT or TP, and it feels like I am constantly part of a story in motion, whereas in past games I would largely forget about it between cutscenes.
Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

Spoilers for those questioning my dislike.
There were plenty of good moments in the story, Ghirahim Dialogue and the three Dragons were notable for me. But the rest was all so-so or just plain Bad. The beginning bits were just so horribly cliche'd with the "Girl with the crush" "group of bullies jealous of that crush" and "the competition which the bullies try to sabotage" ...and Impa's big reveal as the old woman could be seen a mile away thanks to her white tear drop. Then we get to the reason why Zelda is so special, which turns out to be really boring, and Ghirahim pulls an Aganhim and uses her to revive his master. What a twist. Then the final boss, with his dying breath, gives the most cop-out origin story for Ganon I could have imagined. I guess I was expecting deeper origins than "posessed by a goddess and posessed by a Demon", and wanted to know more about how the Kingdom of Hyrule was established. Also felt like this goddess Hylia kind of came out of nowhere, especially for a game that's supposed to be set before all the others.
And the music just wasn't catchy. Not one track. Hell, even the old songs on the CD kind of sounded like they lost their flare, Gerudo Valley especially. But the fans who wanted Orchestral music for a long time finally got what they wanted, so...yay?
EDIT: I did of course, love everything else about the game. Art Style was amazing, and sword play was perfect. So don't you sensitive fans go jumping on me for saying "your new favorite game sucks" or something.

I'm having more fun making everything other than continue the story. I found all Kikwis but after that I went to buy a new shield cause I broke my old. Found Beetle's shop and bought extra wallet and bug catching net so I didn't have money for a shield anymore (I didn't even find anyone selling them yet, gotta take another look next time) and then I went to fly around the sky. I found out that there's many things to do in the sky, I wasn't aware of that. I broke the chandelier in the pumpkin soup place and had to work for free to pay what I broke. Knight commander got his hot pumpkin soup and then I headed back. He didn't have any other work at the moment but I'm going to visit that place again sometime to see if he has a job for me.This game has been far better than I expected!

The only part of the game I'm hating so far is that every time you pick up a piece of treasure when you reset the game, you have to endure the 20 second-long cutscene it takes to put the item in your pouch.
Oh, and the enemies' AI in this game are ridiculously smart.
