I've never had any problems with any menus so far.
Oh well.

How do you hold and move it? Parallel to the ground, twisting around its axis? "Moving" it up down/up/left/right as if using the pointer? Holding it like an umbrella like in the item selection, twisting it clock-wise?

The menus are the last thing wrong with this game.

Spoilers for those who aren't done with dungeon 3 yet.

Only now, more than 20 hours in, do I appreciate the Sheikah stones and the rumours they give you. I love the subtlety of playing the harp near butterflies to get rumours about the world. It reminds me of the fishes in Wind Waker. I'm also surprised at how vast Skyward Sword ended up being, it's probably the size of Twilight Princess but with just a lot less emptiness.

I just started the third Dungeon but getting there was quite a pain. All that quicksand and those irritating electric snail/crab things were hard to avoid. This place is somehow fun but annoying at the same time.
I do like the change from previous games where the areas leading to the dungeons are now almost dungeons themselves.
Instead of just a big empty overworld with a few enemies running around.
Well I'm off to complete the third dungeon. Looks like this'll be interesting.

I have played almost 60 hours, and starting to be at the end. This is one of the best games ever, even though it starts to get really interesting only after the third dungeon (which is not to say it's great even before it). The graphics are the most beautiful stuff on the Wii and the soundtrack is among the best of the series, once it grows on you. The combat system is absolutely the best in the series, and you can actually die a lot in this game. The boss battles are really intense and challenging. Even the lack of night/day cycle other than in Skyloft when sleeping is starting to feel insignificant.

Yeah, I like that too. It's a definite improvement over basically all other 3D Zeldas, except maybe Majora's Mask imo. But then some people complain about being send on fetch quests, no matter if its just a way to throw some well made exploration puzzles at you. ;)

25 hours in and finally made it to level 4. (loving the pacing, and the sidequests I've found have been a blast.)

and another aspect I really love about this game, is finding the items (jelly blob, amber relic etc.) is not easy. Like some games, you can just hack away at enemies and they have a 90% drop rate on items like this but in SS it's a lot harder to get the items. (killed around 200 bats and have only maybe claimed 11 claws if that)

....I don't get it...this game isn't supposed to use the sensor bar at all, and yet the cursor starts being gliitchy/jumpy and whatnot just because the living room blinds are open and letting in sunlight. >_>

I got this yesterday and it's so great... The controls are a bit weird in the beginning, but I think I still need to master them. Anyway, I've just found the other 3 Kikwis, the rest will come tomorrow. :)

Skyward Sword Joke of the Day

Link riding on a giant boulder is not MotionPlus worthy.
Every Super Mario Galaxy fans are going to be very upset about this.

So who here scored the Golden Wii remote Skyward Sword bundle pack? Or did you instead just go for Skyward Sword by itself? I'm a bit tight on cash, and i don't know which one I wan't to go with....Then again, how could i possibly pass up the golden Wii remote!? :o Ugh, it's just so tough to get....And it's impossible to get online unless you plan on blowing $130+ for it on eBay. :p

Just learned Farore's Courage. The first and third dungeons' boss battles are awesome. I didn't like the second one, though.

Agreed, and that's what I love about the 2D games. You can't just walk right into the next dungeon, first you have to find it/get there. Sometimes it seems like the 3D games' overworlds are only there to connect one dungeon to the next.

@WaveBoy I got the gold Wiimote. Its sweet. So sweet that I think only Zelda games are worthy of it's use! :D I'm not kiddin. It might even make me play TP again!
I was thinking how a Metroid one would have been cool, especially if it looked like her arm cannon ( or was an arm cannon! :O

I got the Wiimote bundle which I ordered from Amazon cause I pre ordered it the moment it was announced. And let me tell you Waveboy cause you are someone like me who likes these bundle editions for their collections its worth every cent.

I dont know if you guys have Target stores up in your neck of the woods but my Target store here still has a bunch of the Skyward Sword bundles for sale at 70 bucks. Last time I checked was this past Tuesday and they had at least 15 copies. Might want to check them out or a similar store to grab you one of the bundles. You wont be disappointed.
