Topic: Zelda sequel confirmed for 2010!!!

Me too. Ocean's King Palace destroyed the game. Srsly, what was Nintendo thinking? I really hope the new one delivers.

@pixel: I personally thought the Tower of Spirits was much harder than the Ocean King's Palace, however it wasn't as repetitive. The Ocean King's Palace should have been like the tower. Oh well............

But (from what I've heard; I haven't played Spirit Tracks yet) you don't have to rebeat the same floors over and over again.

This still seems unreal to me. Not but a few months ago they were still asking very basic questions about how the game would work. It sounded like they'd barely done anything yet. Not that I'm disappointed. Even if it does suck, it'll be cool to have a new Mario - Metroid - Zelda all in one year, Nintendo's oldest powerhouse franchises. I hope we get at least some information / screens before E3. They can't just drop a bomb like this and then go back to their work quietly!

Finally! The only answer is when exactly....

I'm always excited to read game news; in some ways, I think I've come to like talking about games as much as or more than actually playing them. Whether I'll be excited to play it or not depends on the trailer and how intrusive Motion Plus is.

Anyways, I enjoyed Phantom Hourglass. Been awhile since I played TP (Got to change to the wolf whenever I wanted and soon after got side tracked eith other games, I guess, and haven't finished it yet.

Be gret when the new Zelda Wii comes out, except then I may have to buy a motion plus.
So what about this game did people not like "TP"?

Donno what's wrong with y'all, TP was great. I don't know how I feel it stacks up against WW, OoT, and LTTP because I haven't played those enough (only beat one of the latter, versus two TP playthroughs) but I respect your opinion of course.

While TP did obviously not suck, I was left rather bored by it. It did suck in comparison to other Zeldas but in no way was it a 'BAD' game and if it had come from a third party with a different character slapped on it ,it would not get anywhere near the amount of critiscim as it does. Saying that ,I hope the next one has a lot more innovation and does not carry on the dull art direction that featured in TP.
