Topic: Youtube app on Wii not working

Now there is a new problem :
Every time i put on a video it quits and goes to another video and that video goes to another, and so on. This means that the videos don't even load!!! Anyhelp?!?!

my Wii in YouTube don't work the guy said that YouTube aplacation not working and said to call YouTube but Google won't help me. So what should i do? i have to watch YouTube on my 3ds.

@wiitube697. The YouTube app got crippled since early 2013. They tried to fix it twice but it didn't help and they simply gave up. The issue I believe it has is that it needs to buffer quite a lot of the stream to display it and it doesn't have the tweaks that older versions had that allowed for speeds as low as 1Mbit (128 KB/sec). You need at least a 10Mbit connection in order to have a decent loading time without many pauses in the middle of the video. However, I think you should have at least a 20Mbit so it will load the next video without displaying the "not available message" when you press the + or - buttons. Although it might as well won't do a thing either. The same thing happens when you try to forward or rewind a video.
At least it still plays most videos if you're patient.

@omc79 I still use my Wii to watch YouTube from time to time, and one thing that I've found that helps with the wait for it to buffer a video is to hit pause then play. I have a 12Mbps connection, and it usually plays fine without additional buffering when I do that. Trying to forward or rewind never works though.

I'll have to try mine out tomorrow. I hope they didn't give it the Windows Phone treatment if you know what I mean.
