Game of the year? Probably; either this or Skyward Sword. Best RPG ever? Definitely. Everybody deserves a chance to own this incredible game (!!!)
Wouldn't call it the best RPG ever - it's an incredible game, for sure, and certainly one of my favourite Wii games, but it's not the best RPG ever. There are better.
Even so, it's an essential buy. Like I say, it's far and away one of my favourite games on Wii.

I've played all of 'em, from the (then-imported) Final Fantasy IV and Chrono Trigger to Final Fantasy XII to Star Ocean on the X-Box 360...nothing comes close to Xenoblade Chronicles in my opinion. It's also the most gigantic RPG ever; both in terms of explorable terrain and rich features... and I haven't even completed this gem! (only 44 hours were spent till Skyward Sword was released and completed)

Its alright. Though Alot of Neogaf memebrs are people in the Industry in some way or form. (testers/Journalist/PR/Devs)
Their the most reliable and most influential forum on gaming on the internet. Naughty Dog brought some Members into their studio to show them some controls problems uncharted was having. and they fixed it.
