The WiiWare service has been described by Nintendo as a platform for experimenting with ideas without large financial risks. Hudson has been experimenting with FPSes and saw success. So I wonder if they're going to take the next step and make a retail FPS? They have learned how to make FPSes and they have seen that there is a market for them on the Wii, do they have the willingness to go there? So far their retail efforts were fairly limited, mostly minigames. Is this a route they would go, especially with their policy on multiplayer violence? They'd probably have to use some nonviolent theme so they could have online pvp play and that could create trouble with singleplayer...

All in all, they are willing to experiment, such as the tilt controlled marble games, Miami Law on ds, and the upcoming point-and-click horror game The Calling. So no, I wouldn't put a full-fleged retail fps beyond them.
